As some of you might know, at our 12 week ultrascreen (NT Scan), the nurse and doc both told us we were having a girl. But yesterday, when we asked the nurse to confirm again, she found a penis and told us we were having another boy!
We were in shock, well at least I was. Since we found out it was a girl 2 months ago, my husband always believed and hoped the baby would grow a penis and his dream came true. As for me, I was preparing myself mentally to raise a daughter. I was even thinking to myself, should I put her hair up? Should I do pony tail or pig tails? Since I'm not a fan of pink, how am I going to dress my baby girl in non-pink colors???
I did not realize how happy I was to hear it was another boy until they told us yesterday. I guess it was meant to be for me to be the mother of 2 boys. I loved my son since the day he was born and always wanted another one just like him, my dream came true too.
Now, we have trouble reprogramming Tristan to call my growing tummy "dai dai" (little brother)... he keeps calling it "mui mui" (little sister) still.

Tina, a second BOY?!!! What a surprise! Well, congratulations all over again! I'm sure your husband is thrilled! I have to admit that I was really happy that you'd have one of each. :) Had you bought tons of girls stuff yet? I would have bought all pink and then have to return it in tears. But, two boys are just as adorable, and they'll be the best of friends!
RYC: Well, again, I am so happy for you. :) I guess waiting until the last minute is good -- that way you don't have to return a lot of stuff! I figured you hadn't bought much yet, but was curious as to whether b/c this one's a girl, you'd bought some outfits. :) My mom's already gone OVERBOARD with buying for baby!
Hehe! That is great! I have heard never to trust early ultrasounds for a girl, because it's true they can "grow " a penis! lol
LOL I'm sure in the next 18 weeks he will learn to say "Dai dai" we are still trying to teach Kai-Li Dai dai, buit she prefers to call him "Baby" lol
Congratulations!!! Now Tristan will have a great playmate. I didn't mind if we have another boy either because Ky-An will have a great playmate to grow up with. Tristan is so cute, by the way!
