Been busy as usual... Thank god for that one extra day we had for Memorial Day weekend, I was able to pack away Tristan's winter clothes and take out his tshirts and shorts for the summer. Also got my husband to finally get rid of those 1990 jeans and khakis he no longer fits into, those pants I call the bottom dwellers. They just sit there for years but hubby insists if he goes on a diet he will fit in them one day. So 3 big bags of clothes later, we emptied out half the closet for new clothes. I also packed away most of my pre-pregnancy clothes and now my dresser only has maternity wear.
In 3 months + 2 weeks, another person will be living in our house and I have to plan ahead where to put his clothes. I have go into storage and dig out all of Tristan's baby clothes for his brother. It was a coincidence that I didn't have (more like too cheap to buy) plastic bins to store Tristan's old clothes so I used diaper boxes. Now I can figure out the different sizes just by the diaper size! I'm a f*ckin genius!!! :-)
Pict taken at a wedding we attended during Memorial Day weekend... looks like he's not too interested in girls yet.

Wow what a nifty idea to pack Tristan's old clothes away in the diaper box. It sure does make things much easier for you now. I still have a lot of clothes that I think I can still fit after I lost all my baby weight..yeah, still in denial here.
OMG that is SUCH a cute picture of Tristan! He's like, "Why do I have to take a picture with this girl?" Hahaha, give him 14 years and he'll change his tune. :) Too cute!
RYC: Shhhhh, don't mention the hand-washing or no hair-washing things. Yes, I do know about those -- actually, isn't it no bathing for a month, either? My mom didn't follow the hand-washing thing so she won't make me keep my hands dry. The bathing, that's trickier. My mom said she broke down and took a bath/washed her hair two weeks after she gave birth. I look HORRIBLE if I don't wash my hair daily; I'm not looking forward to that! Don't tell, but I think while i'm in the hospital, when only Johnny is allowed overnight, I'll take a shower anyway. And drink cold beverages.
I'm really grateful for my mom, but I don't think she'd want to spend the night at my place, either -- it's too small for her to do the things she needs to do! She's really take-charge like me though and wants me under supervision that month so she can make sure I'm not damaging my health irreparably .... sigh! Do you really believe in this stuff? I think the resting and nutritious food is good, but I'm not sure what to think about the no showering and no going outside stuff!
Awwwww!
Hey you are a genius! I wish I had thought of that!
My hubby is the same way about clothes...in fact he still has a stone washed jean jacket with fake sheepskin fur on it....can we say 80s?
